Extensive Refurbishment of a Residential Care Home

An extensive refurbishment of an occupied residential care home. Works included the refurbishment of individual bedroom suites in the Reminiscence Care Floor where residents suffer from Alzheimer’s and Dementia. The suites consisted of en-suite bathroom refurbishments, bedroom kitchenette replacement, flooring, decoration and lighting.

The works then extended to the refurbishment of corridors, communal areas, WC and spa bathrooms. This included decorations, carpets, hard flooring, kitchens, serveries, bespoke fireplace, lighting and electrics.

Once works were completed in the Reminiscence Care Floor, the remaining three floors of corridors, communal areas, WC and spa bathrooms were undertaken. This included decorations, carpets, hard flooring, kitchens, fireplace, lighting and electrics.

In all the project spanned 18 months, with Venture working sympathetically with residents and staff in a live environment.
